The best toy for boys for 2006 went to the Tyco R/C Shell Shocker from Mattel. And it is one of the ugliest RC toys I've seen. But the Shell Shockers performance is amazing.
With a rhino-type "skin" and a scorpion-like tail that whips around, the Shell Shocker is one beast of a radio control vehicle. It transforms from a cyberball to a cyberbeast in seconds! Mud, grass, pavement can't stop the Shell Shocker, the incredibly adaptability will fascinate kids!

The Best Game Of The Year went to Hullabaloo from Cranium. Hullabaloo is loads of fun!
This game is sort of like Twister meets Simon Says. Lay the Hullabaloo pads around on the floor about two 'kid's feet' away from each other. The pads are different shapes and colors and have pictures and words on them. Turn on the game console and the cheerful music begins, a happy voice welcomes you to the game and then gives the simple directions you'll need to play. "Jump on a square shape," "Slide over to a red shape," "Hop to a shape with an animal on it" and so on. After a few turns, a freeze command is called out, where a winner is picked out.
